Job Description

Trove is seeking a Corporate Accountant-Bill Pay Specialist to join our Finance team. We are looking for an experienced bill pay specialist who is interested in growing their accounting career. If you are an energetic, excel-savvy accounting professional searching for an opportunity to own the payables process of a growing financial services team, then we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage bill pay process
    • Receive, review and set up all vendor bills for payment in bill pay system
    • Monitor vendor due dates for timely payment
    • Facilitate communications with vendors
    • Organize and maintain vendor records
  • Coordinate billing of client out of pocket expenses with Billing team
  • Review cash payments for company expenses
  • Manage compliance of tax and corporate filings
  • Manage employee expenses and reimbursements
  • Prepare annual 1099s
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable for monthly close
  • Support annual budget preparation process
  • Assist with other corporate finance projects as needed
  • Document standard operating procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree area

  • 1-2 years corporate accounting experience preferred

  • Experience with any of the following preferred: QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Online, Sage/Intaact, RAMP, Bill.com, Kantata/Mavenlink

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs

  • Specifically creating pivot tables, Vlook-ups and creating reports in Excel

Position Reports to:

Director of Finance

Location

This position offers flexibility in terms of location. It can be 100% remote if the candidate resides beyond a commutable distance from one of our five office locations. However, if the candidate is within a commutable distance to one of our office locations, this role will be offered as a hybrid opportunity, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role will be between $60,000-$65,000. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role.) We offer an outstanding compensation package where you will be rewarded for your experience and recognized for the value you bring to our team of professionals.
